Just in case someone comes here looking for a FIX for his metro last light stutter I'll post my findings (have fun reading lol): because believe me, its so unoptimized that even with a 690 u will literraly kill your frame rates.ĮDIT: There's no way you don't have stutter in metro last light UNLESS you have found a miraculous fix I didnt know about and if so, I WANT TO KNOW what it is but don't even think of turning on that feature. so you won't think it looks like garbage.ĮDIT: here's another title I just thought of that has the same issues: Assassin's creed 3. last light is a bit like skyrim, a mix of ugly and beautiful textures. Altho metro 2033 did need some fixing after it came out, but heck let me tell you that the textures in metro 2033 were way better than in last light. this is because this time the game has been released mainly with consoles in mind. ini files dont allow you to control much graphic options. More than half the video options that were present in metro 2033 are gone and the. has everything to do with the fact that this is yet another console port with some extra features to "make believe" its actually optimitzed when its not. Has nothing to do with viruses and whatnot. I mean just in the 1st lvl sitting in your room there is terrible stuttering going on when looking around slowly. and it doesnt happen every where in game, but plenty of times to be noticed. Pls take in consideration tho that some people dont even notice stuff like stuttering. Huge spikes above 40-50ms can be considered a problem or indicate a low framerate." This happens with ALL cards tested at any resolutions, so it is game-engine or system related. "Above, the cards at 2560x1440.On this 30 second run the graphics card manages to remain roughly below 30ms as you can see both cards show stutters, we can confirm these as visible on screen. and I quote (from the link I just posted): Now this is something to do with the game engine. They're using the best hardware on the market and clearly there is stutter and frametime issues. Metro last light is known to have stutter. The game ends with Artyom, Anna, and the other Spartans burying Miller in a gorgeous valley, which they vow to build into a home for other survivors with Artyom as their new leader.Dont try and give me the "there isnt any stutter, I'm having a sweet performance" that's a load of BS. Miller dies, but Artyom lives to deliver the medicine, and thanks to that, Anna survives as well. The heavy radiation of the Dead City leaves Artyom on the brink of death, but Colonel Miller saves him by sacrificing himself and giving Artyom their last dose of anti-rad. Anna lives, but she's furious with Artyom for leaving her alone. Artyom dies and the game ends with his burial. In his search for medicine to cure Anna's affliction, Artyom succumbs to the heavy radiation in the Dead City. Obviously, major spoilers ahead, so stop reading now if you do plan on playing the game but haven't finished it yet. Read on if you just want to know what happens in the end. *Big, BIG, bigger than that, BIG-OLD SPOILER WARNING* Most of these guys can be avoided and don't even need to be knocked out.
